Ducks help to propel themselves through water by “flying” with their feet, scientists revealed yesterday.
Researchers showed how the “delta” shape of a swimming bird’s webbed feet acted like the wings of Concorde to generate lift.
Zoologists from the United States and Sweden made the discovery after studying great cormorants.
