We’ve had a tremendous response to our ‘call for inventors’ with unusual ideas literally coming out of the woodwork. Next month’s “Night with the Visionaries” featuring the Colorado Inventor Showcase will have some of our country’s most talented idea people on hand so you can meet the creative genius behind the inventions. 9 News is partnering with us and we will be showcasing some of our talented inventors on-air.

We will be announcing a number of awards for top invention in specific categories. A team of celebrity judges will select the winners. Judges include Brad Feld from Mobius Ventures, Drew Crouch from Ball Aerospace, Catharine Merigold from Vista Ventures, Jared Polis, famed author and science editor Wil McCarthey, Bill Cobb from CH2M Hill, Bill Mooz from Sun, Robert Schwab from ColoradoBiz Magazine, Candy Campbell from Colorado Company Magazine, Roger Fillion from the Rocky Mountain News, Larry Nelson from the W3W3 Media Network, Mark Crowley from Success Radio, Donna Petrocco from Valley Bank, Howard Gelt from Shugart Thomson and Kilroy, Chris Scoggins from Sequel Ventures, and Tony Kindlespire from the Longmont Times Call. Prepare to have your imagination come alive at the one event designed to engage the mind. Some very creative people will be turning the Cable Center into Colorado’s largest inventor’s workshop. If you yourself are an inventor, please make plans to participate. Booth space is still available. If you have a child who is aspiring to become an inventor, this is a must see event.
