Women’s armpits are sexy, according to researchers.
The findings, published in the journal Ethnology, follow a study at Charles University in Prague.
Samples of armpit sweat were collected from women on pads and sniffed by 42 men.
They were asked to rate them for attractiveness and intensity.
Men were found to be attracted to the smell during the most fertile stage of the menstrual cycle.
Any odor is at its least intense during this time.
But it becomes repellent during periods – when the chances of conception are lowest.
