Both children and grownups are enjoying building with the blocks, Aftenposten reported. Since the Legos arrived Saturday, scores of creations have been erected.

The former parking lot known as Tullinloka between the art museum and the historic museum recently housed an inflatable green tube nicknamed "The Frog" that was used to display art.

The Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson called for the Lego blocks or "Collectivity Project," set to become part of another exhibit, "Art in Turbulent Times," which opens in October at the Contemporary Art Museum. The exhibit will include videos of people working with the Legos as well as examples of their constructions.
