The Los Angeles Times reported its daily circulation dropped 8 percent to 775,766 and Sunday slid 6 percent to 1.17 million. The New York Times daily circulation fell 3.5 percent to 1.08 million and Sunday was down 3.5 percent to 1.6 million.
