I have a huge collection of thumb drives from every press event I’ve ever been to, but none of them is as talented as this one. The SoundDrive is the first thumb drive I’ve seen with speakers built into it, so the moment you plug it in, it starts yapping away.

The only thing I need less than another flash drive to add to my desktop pile is one that talks to me every time I plug it in. This thing is aimed at advertising and comes packaged with a lanyard and a built in speaker so the message plays even if the PC it’s plugged into has no speakers. The sound file can be set to play for 10 or 20 seconds once the Sound Drive is plugged in. It can play WAV, AIFF and MP3 files and works with Mac and PC. Lucky us.
