Breeze on Knees and Everywhere Else

The bike riders were feeling the breeze on their knees — and everywhere else.

Nearly 60 people pedaled in Seattle’s annual Naked Bike Ride. But three have more than a sunburn to show for the effort.

Three people were busted Saturday, including one woman who had painted her body with tiger stripes.

Police say they acted after receiving complaints from several people, including a 12-year-old girl.

A police report says the cyclists were warned before their ride they would be subject to arrest if there were complaints from the public. But Naked Bike Ride organizer Daniel Johnson says they have never had a problem with their event in the past.

He says the point of the naked ride is to raise awareness about pollution and the beauty of the human body.
