British women would rather slap on a fake tan or lie on a sunbed than do some exercise to look good.
One in five reckon they feel better about themselves if they have a tan and many are happy to get out the bronzing lotion if the sun is not shining.
Research by skin-care firm Nivea, who spoke to 2000 adults around the UK, found three-quarters of women are unhappy with their bodies.
Flabby tummies top the body worry stakes, followed by fat thighs, sagging bottoms, flabby arms and and shoulders which are too broad.
But six in 10 women claim a fake tan can disguise all their worst features.
