Finally, a robot we can all love to hate

One day robots will rule us. But until they do, we have to make do with cool little robo slaves like Sega-Hasbro’s Ampbot.

Just over two feet tall, he has an iPod cradle on his back for carrying your tunes about. He’ll play them through his stereo speakers, with a total power of 12W.

Pretty impressive, for a small guy.

He’ll dance along to the songs too, so better start making a robot-themed playlist.

And he’ll also chase you around the house, according to the maker. Freaky.

Expect him to start chasing in November when he launches in America and Japan. And the price? $500.
