There’s no place like home

The Shopping Cart Shelter was designed as a tool for homeless people who collect bottles from the streets and also need a place to stay that is safe from the elements. The bottles provide a small income, and this is needed in order to sustain themselves.

This project was not intended to be a solution to the social problem of the homeless, but more to raise awareness about the problem.
