‘Oasis of the Seas’: World’s Largest Cruise Ship Sets Sail

The world’s largest cruise liner, the Oasis of the Seas, has set sail for Miami from the Finnish shipyard where it was built. (Pics)

The 1,200 foot (360 metre) ship has a price tag of almost 1.5 billion, 16-deck-high, 220,000-ton and was commissioned by Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. The Oasis of the Seas has a maximum capacity of around 6,000 people.  It is due to begin cruises out of Miami in December.
