Dogs and cats everywhere beware: AIBO is gaining on you.

Entertainment Robot America, a division of Sony Electronics Inc., announced yesterday that new software available in November will allow its robot pet AIBOrecognize an owner’s name, voice and face and recharge itself when it’s hungry.
