The DaVinci Institute’s unique Immortalizer Technologies Project for compiling a list of all future inventions is about to come to a close. The goal of the project is to create a compendium of future inventions, a roadmap of sorts for innovators.
Thanks to a recent Slashdot article the number of submissions received is approaching 400.

“Our goal was to get somewhere close to 500 submissions and I think we’ll be close,” says Thomas Frey, Executive Director of the DaVinci Institute.

Judges for the project include WIRED Magazine Writers, Cory Doctorow and Wil McCarthy, VC Rick Patch, HP Designer Katrina Gallway, Futurist John Petersen, and Tom Frey.

People can submit their ideas and have a future invention named after themselves. Deadline for submissions is April 30th.
