A prize for the world’s longest-living mice will be awarded to hasten and publicize the development of effective life extension therapies.

The Methuselah Mouse Prize was created by the Methuselah Foundation, an organization dedicated to the use of prizes to extend healthy human lifespan.

The ongoing prize rewards whoever can produce mice that live longer than existing record holders, with the reward determined by the size of the prize fund and the margin by which records are broken.
