The Impact Lab has been hacked a total of three times in the past week. Inspite of several attempts to block the unwanted hackers from causing problems, the problem remains. Clearly PHP Nuke, the open source platform on which the Impact Lab operates, is riddled with security holes well known to the hacker crowd.

While open source prjects have been lauded by the media, the downsides remain. Downsides include loose controls over the creation of the code and no personal accountability when someone screws up.

The last hacking was done by someone writing in arabic.
