A Cuban farmer has developed dwarf cows that are only three-feet tall.

Raul Hernandez from San Juan y Martinez told Las Ultimas Noticias said his breeding of the cows is a dream come true.

The 72-year old noticed that ranchers tended to neglect animals that weren’t big enough, so he began a process of inbreeding among smaller cows.

He says, “Now every Cuban family can have its own cow. They can give up to 5 litres of milk every day and anyone can look after them.”
