A Canadian inventor’s latest idea could make poop scoops a thing of the past for dog owners.

Paul LeFevre’s ‘doggy bag’ is essentially a designer nappy for dogs, reports the Montreal Gazette.

“The invention relates generally to animal clothing in general, but more particularly to a garment for dogs that also collects faeces and urine,” said LeFevre.

Patents are pending in Canada and the US for the doggy bags.

“My interest is in selling the idea, not starting up a company to manufacture them,” he added.

The doggy bags include accessories like a small pouch to carry everything from doggy treats to a mobile phone.

It even features an attachable section that collects urine from females, complete with a sanitary napkin for those in heat.
