A 13-year-old schoolboy has grown a 700lb pumpkin – by feeding it beer.

Joe Hallam, from Morton, Lincolnshire, gives the vegetable a pint of beer a day, says The Sun.



And it grew so big that he had to hire a crane to carry it to a horticultural show.



He believes it’s Britain’s biggest pumpkin and said: “A pint a day really helps its size.”
