In a restaurant in Japan, a goldfish tank can be found at the bottom of the deep fryer. Yes, you are hearing it right.

Apparently, because the 163 degree oil floats on water, all the goldfish has to do is to stay away from the surface and it will be able to carry on living for about 5-10 years. And that’s not all; the food that falls back into the tank during the frying process will be eaten by the fishes, thus keeping waste to a minimum. Now, that’s a really innovative fryer!
