An Arizona assisted-living home has a quarter of a million fewer residents this week.
Last Friday, a huge 400 pound bee hive containing more than 250-thousand killer bees was removed from the building’s roof.
The bee removal experts hired to remove the hive say the Africanized bees had been building the nest for at least three years.
The hive was found after several landscapers were stung while mowing grass at the assisted-living home.
The hive was spread out over nine square feet under the building’s roofing tiles.
