“Murat is a French mime who studied under Ivan Bacciochi at the Marcel Marceau school and to pay for his studies performed as a street mime. He has influenced by the marionettes of Philippe Genty and by Vito Lupo, the mime-magician. He realized that people were fascinated by public statues, and while admiring a statue in a museum, he imagined it coming to life… very quickly his “statue” act has become known all over Europe.”
