Chip Developed That Makes Internet 60 Times Faster

Having been plagued with slow internet speeds literally all my adult life, the news that scientists from the University of Sydney have found a way to make the World Wide Web 60 times faster than current top speeds only makes me more than happy.

Promising to raise that to 100 times in the near future, the Aussie developers took advantage of speedy optic fibers by creating a thumbnail-sized photonic integrated circuit, which can rapidly process data to the point that it can change the path of information one million times in a second.
That’s fast! An initial demo from the scientists showed that the chip generates an Internet 60 times faster than it is today and since the chip can be produced cheaply, it won’t even be an additional burden on a normal user’s pocket either.
