The Mall of Dubai is grandiose and beautiful, but you better have a good pair of walking shoes on when you get there. Only about 30% of the shops are now open, but more will be opening soon. Here area few inside photos of this mega shopping experience. (Pics)

Since it is close to the Burj Dubai, the world’s tallest building, it will undoubtedly become linked as the huge shopping center next to the huge tower. The underground parking structure is an entire city by itself.

Another feature is their ice arena. But not just a tiny little ice rink. Instead, this is a full sized professional hockey rink complete with bleachers.

Yes, there are probable a few aspiring Arab hockey players. Not a lot. And the ones that like hockey probably fell off a few too many camels.
