A French kiss is costly
Graham Moore was fined £130 for using modified number plates that read “kisses” in french
A ROMANTIC gesture to impress a woman has landed a British man with a £130 fine.
Graham Moore, 60, was driving a car with plates that his now-deceased son had modified to amuse his French girlfriend.
The plates, which originally read B18OUS, were changed to BISOUS, meaning “kisses” in French.
Mr Moore said he had begun using the plates in France in his son’s memory. He was risking up to five years in jail for using them.
He was given the fine by a French court on Thursday.
