Denver inventor, Guy Grace, has devised a unique system for assisting the police at the scene of a crime.
“Police officers searching for an intruder would be safer, for instance, if they were armed with a computer printout of a school’s floor plan — “to let them know where the nooks and crannies are,” Grace said.

The software program that he created now is the heart of an experimental, portable security system that its developers predict will streamline the way police and rescue workers respond to emergencies.

With the click of a triggerlike mouse, a SWAT team could call up a hard drive’s stored images of a school’s interior layout — including video of its hallways and classrooms — before they enter.

A domestic cat was cloned late last year in a Texas A&M University research program called CopyCat, which marked the first time a pet has been cloned, the Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday.

Cloning research at the university has been funded with more than $3.5 million in investments from John Sperling, an 81-year-old financier who formed Genetic Savings & Clone Inc. Good name, huh?
