Lunar Bricks Could Be Used To Build Bases On The Moon 

Most of the concepts for lunar bases we tend to see are dome-shaped, built locally here on Earth and then transported. The “Masons of Regolith,” a team of seven Virginia Tech students named for the rock that is present on the Earth, the Moon and asteroids, think that those domes could be built on the lunar surface instead, made from rock gathered on site.

For snow sledding, the SLICERTM works like any normal sled that is placed on a slope that is covered with snow or ice. But to slide down grass covered slopes, just the opposite is done: instead of putting the SLICERTM on the snow or ice, ice is put on the bottom of the SLICERTM!

Approximately 100,000 LEGO pieces were used to build this instrument 

With the exception of the wire strings, this instrument is entirely constructed out of LEGO parts–the keyboard, jacks, jack rack, jack rail, plectra, soundboard, bridge, hitch pins, tuning pins, wrestplank, nut, case, legs, lid, lid stick, and music stand are all built out of interlocking ABS (Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene) plastic bricks and related pieces.
