Yale University’s Book of Quotations released its fifth annual list of best quotes of the year. Fred Shapiro is an associate librarian at Yale University who compiles the “Yale Book of Quotations” and he puts out an annual list of the top 10 quotes of the year. This year, there’s a tie for first place, between Republican Tea Party candidate Christine O’Donnell, and BP’s former CEO, Tony Hayward.
