Depression leads to women shopping more

Women seem to shop more when they are depressed because of recession, a new study suggests.

A survey conducted by Karen Pine, professor at the University of Hertfordshire and author of Sheconomics, found that 79 per cent women go on a spending spree to cheer themselves up.

Depressed Women ‘Have More Sex’

Depressed women are likely to have more sex than those who are happier because it helps them to stave off insecurity, a new study has revealed.

Researchers in Australia have found that females who suffer from mild to moderate depression indulge in more sexual activity than those who are not, regardless of whether they are in a relationship or not.
