Which came first – the chicken or the egg?

One of the most puzzling and famous life questions has stumped people for generations. It’s the question of which came first: the chicken or the egg? In order for there to be an egg, a chicken would have had to lay it. No More Buying Eggs By The Dozen in the UK

Buying a dozen eggs in the UK could be a thing of the past, as a new European Union labeling law kicks in. The new rule, crafted by what I could only describe as lunatic bureaucrats in Brussels, decrees that you can’t sell food by the numbers:

This weeks special on designer babies includes the no-cry feature,
along with the pick-up-after-yourself gene, and extra tan skin

News that scientists have for the first time genetically altered a human embryo is drawing fire from some watchdog groups that say it’s a step toward creating “designer babies”. But an author of the study says the work was focused on stem cells. He notes that the researchers used an abnormal embryo that could never have developed into a baby anyway.

“None of us wants to make designer babies,” said Zev Rosenwaks, director of Center for Reproductive Medicine and Infertility at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
