Extreme snowboarders are always looking for that epic jump, those divine moments of floating through the air where time and space seem to meld into an indescribable adrenaline rush. The “Quiksilver Showdown Over the City” is a spectacular winter event in Canada. This premier end of season event is the largest contest-style winter snow sport event in Vancouver.
With over 100 riders competing throughout the course of the weekend, Quiksilver brings together internationally recognized pro riders and top up and coming amateur athletes. Video and more photos after the jump.
