About three years ago, Arushi Singh and her boyfriend began looking for an apartment to rent together. They found the perfect place, with a balcony and big lawn, in a posh area of India’s capital. But when they went to sign the lease, the landlady demanded to know whether they were married.

Choi Jin-young hanged himself last month with an electrical cord. The 39-year-old actor wasn’t getting any work in local TV, police said, and he had been depressed since the suicide of his famous older sister. The sister, Choi Jin-sil, was known as the “nation’s actress.” When she hanged herself in her bathroom in October 2008, a wave of sympathetic suicides swept South Korea and 1,700 people took their lives the following month.

A shocking story took place in China. A nine-year-old girl gave birth to a healthy baby in Changchun Hospital in China’s northeastern province of Jilin. Doctors performed Cesarean section on the little mother after she started having contractions.
The baby-boy was born weighing 2.75 kg. Medics said that both the mother and child were “fine,” China’s City Evening News portal said.
The medics of the hospital did not give any other comments to reporters. No wonder, because the subject of early pregnancy is tabooed in the communist country.

This Land of Love will not be seen or enjoyed.
China’s first sex theme park, aimed at improving both the sex education and the sex life of its visitors, has been torn down before it even opened. The owners were “interested only in profiting from sensationalism,” one official said.
Due to open in Chongqing in October, Love Land was to have included displays of giant genitalia, naked bodies and an exhibition on the history of sex.
The park was set to offer workshops on sex technique and safe-sex methods. But the plans left Chongqing officials red-faced. The officials called the planned park “vulgar, ill-minded and misleading”.
