Netflix is guaranteed to make the cable industry nervous with its plan to disrupt the industry. “The traditional entertainment ecosystem is built on (managed dissatisfaction), and it’s a totally artificial concept,” Netflix CEO Reed Hastings tells GQ’s Nancy Hass. “The point of managed dissatisfaction is waiting.”

Can you ever erase yourself from the internet?

There is no black and white answer concerning consumers’ online privacy.

More and more each day the internet infiltrates commerce and social life and consumers are becoming more aware that their personal information is becoming less and less personal.  Some websites and apps have transparent sharing policies.  Some of them state exactly what information they will use for advertising but others aren’t so clear.

At Facebook we have about 35 million account holders in the United States who have Liked a page for one of the 32 teams in the league, representing one of the most comprehensive samples of sports fanship ever collected.
