Vehicle modder Daniel Deutsch (creator of the wonderful R2D2 projector) had built his own Landspeeder with a custom aluminum chassis. It travels a maximum of 25 MPH and can putter around in a Segway-like sphere of influence: a few miles on a single charge. Perfect for running down womp rats, but the X-34 Landspeeder is also the perfect open top for the predictably dry Tatooine summers.
