Beer Marshmallows

What could be better than beer flavored marshmallows?

Mmm… beer marshmallows. My inner Homer Simpson is doing cartwheels right now. You know, while he can. Before I get my hands on these things of beauty, spawned by some mad food genius, and just totally let myself go. I mean I have will power and everything, but come on!

The question is, why hasn’t someone thought of this before now?

Super Tooth Buddy – Ultra Compact Bluetooth Speakerphone for Your Vehicle

supertooth 1

Super Tooth Buddy

I stopped by the SuperTooth Buddy booth at CES2011 in January.  I have been looking for something that will allow me to talk on my cell phone when I am in my car, that is simple to set up and use and lets me keep both hands on the steering wheel while talking.  The most frustrating thing for me has been either feeling around on the car seat to see where my cell phone is or digging through my purse, which can be distracting when you are trying to keep both eyes on the road.  The SuperTooth Buddy Speakerphone takes care of all that.  (Pics)

Using the Basking Shark as a model.

Smile, Darn Ya, Smile!

Electro-Smiledddddd

A great smile at a certain price.

Want your child to turn that frown upside down? By any means necessary? This feels like it belongs on Arrested Development, alongside the injury-inducing cornballer, but amazingly enough it’s areal thing. And there’s only a “slight twitch side effect!” Hooray for science!

Would this work on a bike path?

The StreetFlyer vehicle, developed by Dr. Carsten Mehring, is supposed to represent a land version of hang gliding. The rider is suspended in a harness from the top. soundbite-hearing-device

A new way to hear.

A company called Sonitus Medical has developed a unique way of providing hearing for people who are deaf in one ear. The cleverly named SoundBite hearing system is composed of two electronic devices, the Behind The Ear(BTE) unit and the In The Mouth (ITM) unit. You’d have to be the dumbest person on Earth if you don’t know which device goes where by now. The BTE is used to detect and capture sound. It has a digital signal processor and a second microphone for noise cancellation. It also has a transmitter, which it uses to wirelessly send sound to the ITM..

Brush Your Teeth with THIS Stick

THIS is it for your teeth!

A miswak is a tooth cleaning stick made from the Salvadora persica tree. It’s traditionally used in Pakistan, India, and the Middle East in place of a modern plastic toothbrush. The bristles inside the plant, once exposed by cutting across the stem, are effective as a cleaning instrument. Leen Sadder, a design student, decided to make a modern version..
