H&M is trialing a smart mirror in its flagship store in Times Square, New York.

Through voice and facial recognition, customers can use voice commands to take selfies.

The mirror was developed by Microsoft and Swedish digital agencies, Visual Art and Ombori.

H&M is offering its customers a new shopping experience and customers apparently love it, according to Lebensmittelzeitung.

A school in China is monitoring students with facial-recognition technology that scans the classroom every 30 seconds

A Chinese high school in Hangzhou is using facial-recognition technology that scans students every 30 seconds.

The system is analyzing students’ emotions and actions in the classroom as well as replacing ID cards and wallets at the library and canteen.

Facial-recognition technology is widespread in China, where it is being used to predict crime.

Beijing police are using facial-recognition glasses to identify car passengers and number plates

In-car facial recognition system can detect road rage

The facial recognition system uses an infrared camera system to identify the driver’s emotions.

Researchers at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne or EPFL are collaborating closely with PSA Peugeot Citroen and developing an in-car emotion detection system designed to watch out for emotions like anger and disgust. (Video)
