Guitar Urinal adds music to the experience

Because everyone knows that business success relies on linking your brand to bodily waste, here is a urinal in Brazil from Billboard that lets you shred while peeing.

The face-melting bathroom fixture, conceived by ad agency Almap BBDO and 3-D modeled by Cricket Design, is making the rounds this summer of several bars in São Paulo. As you can see, “Guitar Pee” looks like a regular urinal with a fretboard sticking out of its top and an ominous electric cord connected to an amp on the wall. Make sure you’re wearing rubber-soled shoes before whipping it out, lads!

This urinal video game allows you to control a slalom skier via *ahem* your stream, as you try to reach the finish line before you’re finished emptying your bladder. And while this might sound like fun after lifting a few pints, I can’t imagine it’s going to last long in the typical men’s bathroom, what with all the graffiti artists and *ahem* wetness everywhere…

Gilpin Whiskey Project – Whiskey Recycled from Diabetic’s Urine

Gilpin Family Whiskey

James Gilpin has Type 1 diabetes – his pancreas doesn’t work, forcing him to take shots of insulin to process glucose from food. Gilpin got to thinking about elderly patients with diabetes, like his grandmother, who secrete tons of unprocessed medicine and sugar in their urine. A great idea dawned upon him — well, perhaps it’s a gross idea but we’ll leave that up to you — and he started the Gilpin Family Whiskey project, a high end line of single malt whiskey made from the sugar-laden urine of people with diabetes. His grandmother was the first patient to recycle her pee into whiskey!

Cow Urine Shampoo Hasn’t Made It Past Drawing Board

The bovine brew is in the final stages of development by the Cow Protection Department of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), India’s biggest and oldest Hindu nationalist group, according to the man who makes it.Om Prakash, the head of the department, said the drink – called “gau jal”, or “cow water” – in Sanskrit was undergoing laboratory tests and would be launched “very soon, maybe by the end of this year”.

You know the economy is weird when urine becomes a hot commodity

You’ve got to wonder when someone comes up to you and asks for some of your urine.

Space program contractor Hamilton Sundstrand is seeking urine from workers at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, as part of its work on the new Orion space capsule that eventually would take astronauts to the moon, according to an internal memo posted on the Web site Nasawatch.com. The need is voluminous: 30 liters a day, which translates into nearly 8 gallons. Even on weekends.

Men use public bathrooms decorated with female mannequins at a shopping center in Sao Joao da Madeira, northern. You might be surprised to come across a scantily clad model in a public bathroom, but shoppers at Portugal’s Eight Avenue mall in Sao Joao da Madeira are beginning to like it. Spread across the mens’ and ladies’ bathrooms, mannequins scantily dressed stand in suggestive poses as visitors meet them, first with shock, then with a smile. More photos after the jump.
