Slegoon

The Slegoon is a new kind of snow sled. Not only it offers protection in the event of a roll-over but it is designed to continue gliding even while rolling. It should take a tree or a big rock to stop you descending a snowed slope and even then you will probably walk unharmed.

Now these likely won’t work for the small hills that most kids would go sledding on, this would probably be better suited for skiing slopes instead.  Don’t worry, no matter how dangerous the slope, this can take it.  It features rollerbars to make sure you stay safe and it can keep going even when it’s rolled onto it’s side.

It is designed by Spike Reid and it has received the first prize in the IOM3 Design Innovation in Plastics 2003 competition.
