When it comes to telecommuting, Colorado is leading the nation.  

That’s according to a new report from Flexjobs.com, which indicates that 6.9 percent of Colorado workers telecommute for work, which ranks No. 1 in the country.

Flexjobs said it used 2013 American Community Survey data from the U.S. Census Bureau’sAmerican Fact Finder site to obtain its rankings.

Vermont ranks second in the U.S. for telecommuters at 6.8 percent and Oregon was No. 3, at 6.3 percent.

Mississippi ranks last in the country at 1.9 percent.
