Back To The Future 2 was the inspiration for the folks at Future Motion when they set out to build a new electric skateboard. Inventor Kyle Doerksen knew he didn’t have the Tony Stark-level genius it would take to actually whip up an actual hoverboard, but he still wanted to emulate the feeling the feel of riding one.

A 3D printer that can build a house in 24 hours

The technology is known as Contour Crafting.

Professor Behrokh Khoshnevis, at The University of Southern California, has built a colossal 3D printer that can build a house in 24 hours. Khoshnevis’s robot comes equipped with a nozzle that spews out concrete and can build a home based on a set computer pattern. (Video)

Going out for an evening can be a lot of fun, but when you have to wait in a long line at the coat check to retrieve your garment it kind of loses it’s appeal. Supersonic Jets being resurrected for the business elite

Fastest business jet on the planet.

Spike Aerospace, a Boston based aerospace company, is working on a new aircraft that it believes will be the fastest business jet in the world. The aircraft is called the S-512 and Spike says that the jet will be capable of cruising at Mach 1.6 and will have a max speed of Mach 1.8. (Video)
