NASA reveals spacesuit of the future

Style in spacesuits tends to advance at a slow pace. The spacesuit that is being currently worn by astronauts has been in use since 1982. But NASA has designed the Z-series suit that is designed for walking on Mars, not just floating around in space as astronauts have in the past. And NASA wants you to help pick the final look. Rinspeed’s driverless car concept brings business class to the road

Bringing business class travel to driverless cars.

Countries from the U.S. to Singapore will likely have self-driving cars on roadways by 2020. These road-aware vehicles will theoretically do away with nearly all traffic collisions and reduce traffic congestion. Auto designer Rinspeed, however, has fixed its considerable talent on another aspect of the autonomous car: just what to do with the passengers. (Photos)

A tiny home that appears much larger than it actually is

You won’t necessarily sacrifice comfort by living in a tiny house,  at least not according to work-at-home husband and wife team Andrew and Gabriella Morrison. They live in a 221 square foot home, which is dubbed hOMe. The tiny hose is designed in a way that maximizes each part of the living space, giving the appearance of being a much larger house than it is. The home greatly resembles a shipping container from the outside due to its shape, and is only 8 feet and 6 inches wide. (Photos)
