Gardeners keen to boost their crop of tomatoes may be surprised to learn they can turn to an unusual and free source of fertiliser.  Allotment growers can enrich the soil and therefore their plants using their own wee, according to a new study.  Scientists discovered the unusual addition made crops up to four times larger.

Phoenix Crop Circle Appears In Same Field as Dragonfly Crop Circle

One of the first things one learns when studying crop circles is that the formations are concentrated and appear in a small area of England more often than the rest of the world combined. This awesome bird formation happens to also be in the same field as the fantastic dragonfly formation that appeared earlier in the month.

This “Phoenix” crop circle formation measures approximately 300 feet in diameter. It was discovered in the early morning of June 12 2009 and can be clearly seen from the A4 near Yatesbury, in Wiltshire, England.

Mainstream media is always quick to note that some crop circles are hoaxed by humans. However they rarely present the fact that many crop circles DO NOT show signs of hoaxing and are not explainable by conventional means. When examining each formation there are tell tale signs as to which manner it was created including if or how the stalks are bent vs broken…

Please Don’t Trample the Jellyfish!

A 250m-long (825 ft) crop circle of a jellyfish has appeared on farmland. The owners of the land in Oxfordshire have urged visitors to stay away from the circle, which is also 60m (197ft) wide, to avoid further crop damage.

Sally Ann Spence and husband Bill, who own Berry Croft Farm near Ashbury, said hundreds of visitors have been trampling over their field…

Passenger Jet Powered By Jet Fuel Made From A Weed 

 Technicians at UOP examine equipment used to convert jatropha oil into jet fuel.

On December 3, a Boeing 747 belonging to Air New Zealand is scheduled to take off from Auckland, New Zealand, powered in part by a new type of jet fuel made from a weed. A mixture of equal parts biofuel and conventional fuel will run one of the plane’s engines. The biofuel, which could help reduce carbon-dioxide emissions, was developed by UOP, a major supplier of technology for petroleum refining.
