Conversations around the water cooler often had to do with some of the cryptic code written 2-3 decades earlier, buried deep within the system, that was incomprehensible to what anyone was writing at the time.
Today’s young Americans are less environmentally conscious—and often less civic-minded overall—than previous generations.
Are today’s Millennial generation altruistic and civic-minded or materialistic and self-absorbed? In the latest installment: a study that says the popular view of young adults as more caring, interested in social issues and concerned about the environment compared to previous generations is mostly false.

Women’s History Month is March and International Women’s Day was March 8th. International Women’s Day was first observed in the U.S. on Feb. 28, 1909. That day has come to symbolize women’s struggles for equal rights.

Soaring rates of 2 to 5 year olds with tooth decay.
There has been “a huge increase” in little kids who need general anesthesia for dental procedures, including tooth extractions, crowns and even root canals as dentists are seeing so many preschoolers with cavities and severe tooth decay (6 to 10 cavities or more), according to a report from The New York Times.
Lower-income people struggled the most with medical debt.
One in 5 Americans say their families are having trouble paying their medical bills, according to a new survey. Worse, half of those who are struggling say they are unable to pay a single dime toward those debts.

The number of women earning more than their husbands had gradually been rising for years.
Julee Schirmacher has found herself in a spot that has become familiar to many families over the past few years since her husband was laid off last fall. She works full-time for a marketing company and, for now, her husband stays home and takes care of the couple’s two kids, ages 5 and 2.
