Kuniako Saito, a Japanese engineer, has just invented a new way to travel: A transporter called a “WalkCar” that’s small, light and apparently easy to use. The WalkCar is battery powered and is about the size of a laptop. And although it looks like it can’t hold much weight and is made from aluminum, it can apparently have as much as 265 lbs on board.
Robostep at CES 2014
The Robostep is an advanced travel tool that can reach speeds of up to 12.5 miles per hour and offers reliable security and unique driving technology.
Dean Kamen – the multimillionaire inventor behind the Segway personal transporter – is well down the road in the development of a new bike that combines electric power and a radical generator which will allow it to burn almost any fuel.
Built around a fairly conventional battery and electric motor combination to provide the drive to the wheel, something Kamen’s experience with the much-hyped Segway makes relatively easy, the radical part of the design is the inclusion of a Stirling engine to recharge the bike’s battery pack. Based on technology that pre-dates the internal combustion engine by nearly a century, the Stirling engine is closer in concept to a steam engine, using external combustion, and without the need for a fuel that can be injected and burned incredibly fast inside a normal engine’s combustion chamber, it can run on virtually anything that burns – opening the door to easily renewable fuels rather than relying on dwindling fossil fuel supplies…
The Transporter TW
With concept designers crafting their fantasies into a consumable form, we believe that the era of tomorrow would be completely different than present days. Harsha Vardhan, a car designer, thinks that apart from the cities, cars too would be completely different and powered by technologies no car manufacturer has tried till date. He fantasizes a car powered by magnetic field generated by on-board electricity powered systems. (Pics)

Today’s list is the future. From wild wheels to perfect seats to flying cars, this is the way we’ll be crashing into each other when tomorrow rolls around. Are you ready for that?! Are you ready to do some amazing flips, twists, and the all important barrel roll? Drop the back on in! (Pics)
Crazy Segway mod
This awesome Segway mod has a High Definition Television (HDTV) on its regular model. As great as it is to have a TV in place, I could also see it as the pimped out model for the employees above. Now, instead of just coupons, they could drive towards you with a commercial and theme song playing. Second video after the jump.
