‘Brain Trip’
The Centraal Museum in Utrecht, the Netherlands, is offering an additional experience for its ‘Surreal Worlds’ exhibition that monitors visitors’ brain waves. Interactive agency Rhinofly developed the interactive installation ‘Brain Trip’, which enriches visitors’ trip and enables them to experience surrealism in an innovative way. (Video)
Using EEG, the brain reader measures whether people are focused or relaxed and when they blink their eyes. These are then used as tools in an expedition into a surreal world.
This type of initiative invites people to do more than just look at art and allows them to truly immerse themselves in the exhibit. A unique shareable travel report is made of visitors’ Brain Trip, so they can see how their cerebral hemispheres experienced the expedition.
