Changing the way you buy clothing.

This seems like the kind of invention we’ve needed for a long time now-a virtual dressing room that allows you to try on clothes without all that nudity and pointless human interaction.

There are no salespeople to hard sell you into buying that ill fitting garment, you simply try it on for size via touch screen and see what you think for yourself. Here’s how it works…

Powerful people think they are taller than they actually are

powerful people feel taller

The study looked at whether the psychological perception of power may cause people to feel taller than they truly are.

10 things entrepreneurs fail at

success_is_99_failure_honda

James Altucher:  I was on the phone with Tony Conrad at True Ventures pitching a business idea I had in early 2009. The site was built and we even had people registered for it and I had about a half million dollars already committed but I wanted a VC firm on my side as well. I don’t know why. Maybe I thought it would give me some credibility and I desperately craved it after the divorce I had been going through.

PowerTrekk

A Swedish company, myFC,  has figured out how to power smartphones using a system that includes some water, a tray, a little round container, and an eyeglass case styled cover. The company is introducing its PowerTrekk system to Americans at the CES show in Vegas.
