In the U.S., Christianity is the largest religion by a wide margin: more than three-quarters of Americans identify as Christians. Buddhism is second. The data comes from a 2010 census sponsored by the Association of Statisticians of American Religious Bodies.

New thinking leads to a decline in homelessness

The National Alliance to End Homelessness sees the recent success as the “giant untold story of the homelessness world.”

Since 2005, there has been a 17 percent decline in homelessness because of a radical change in how states address homelessness. This trend has withstood financial panic, a foreclosure crisis, and the Great Recession.

We not only obsess over what we eat. We also obsess over what our pets eat. While the pet food industry has started adding salmon, vegetables and other ingredients humans favor to its products, the store-bought stuff just doesn’t make the cut anymore for some owners. They’re skipping the pet food aisle altogether in favor of cooking up big batches of Fido’s meals.
