As part of its multi billion-dollar plan to build a nationwide network of automated logistics, China’s JD.com is testing its tri-copter drones in testing zone in Shaanxi.

Chinese companies are going all-out on unmanned systems for delivery logistics. A fleet of new autonomous cargo drones, robotic trucks, and fast quadcopters are private-sector developments that are making China a future world leader in robotics.

Reaction Engine’s Skylon could fly anywhere in the world in 4 hours

Airbus Hopes to Build Transparent Passenger Plane

Aircraft manufacturer Airbus has revealed it hopes to build a passenger plane with a completely transparent fuselage. At the push of a button the captain would send an electrical pulse through a hi-tech ceramic skin making the main body of the plane see-through, Der Spiegel reports.

The ambition public transport system foreseeing driverless compartments zipping over the city streets could be a transportation mode of the future, if the project gets the required funding to be build into a working prototype anytime soon.
