The PW-14®

The PW-14®, an auto-protocol switching redundancy telephone, has a modem based circuit-switching protocol that is constantly running in the back ground with near instantaneous uptime that is contained if the primary VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) fails. The PW-14® is ultimate device for any weapons system.

ActiveAlive’s PW-14®  is one of the featured exhibitors at the DaVinci Inventor Showcase, which takes place November 14-15, 2014 at the Denver Mart. This is your chance to experience the PW-14® and many other amazing innovations.

Problem/Solution: As the US and Western Europe’s militaries and emergency management systems primarily uses VOIP, they have eradicated the legacy/”pay-phone” protocol that 70% of the rest of the world still uses. This lack of “fail-over” redundancy opens doors for compromising entire ranges of IP addresses, no back-up systems if a power/routers/switches loose power and other problems. “The PW-14” World’s First Auto-Protocol Switching Redundancy Telephone alleviates these and many other problems.

With the intent to save lives through redundancy, The Poitier Wright model 14, or  PW-14® allows multiple monitoring real-time capability over Data-Link tracks of concern, providing the capability to “lock-on” tracks, forwarding it’s client side data, back to main Tactical Data-Link devices for further processing. With an IP-to-Serial auto-alternate connection, or manual configuration, uptime rates are maximized with redundancy, in both secure and non-secure settings. The PW-14® is currently undergoing an approval process for Type-1 encryption and planned for Link-22 capability. For Coalition Guard, it supports classified and sensitive data sharing of NATO and multinational interoperability.
