The world’s first certified Multicoptor, e-volo’s Volocopter VC200, premiered manned flights in Karlsruhe, Germany. Volocopter is designed to be a personal aerial vehicle, so easy and safe to fly, that anyone can do it. And due to its electric propulsion it has no tailpipe emissions and is remarkably quiet.
Volvo, Daimler, and other manufacturers sent about a dozen trucks across Europe. These mostly autonomous vehicles set off from their bases in europe, some traveled more than 2,ooo km and 4 borders, to reach their destination. The first major exercise of its kind in Europe.

Self driving cars will probably lead to steep decline in fossil fuels, personal ownership, and accidents. These vehicles will pick you up, drop you off, and go to wherever it’s needed next. In 2014 an estimated 2.926 billion miles were traveled. During that year 32,675 people lost their lives and many more were injured. Around $200 billion dollars in insurance claims, uncompensated losses, and damaged property were also reported.

A more stylish option to wait out the apocalypse, is a fully sustainable floating home. The Unidentified Floating Home, from Italian mini yacht-maker offers a completely off-grid existence on the ocean. According to the company’s co-founders, Pierpaolo Lazzarini and Luca Solla, the UFO is intended for “living in a floating house and moving slowly around the world.” “Slowly” in this case means a leisurely maximum speed of 3.5 knots (6.5 km/h, 4 mph), using a waterjet-propelled Torqeedo Deep Blue 1800 electric motor.
Lithium, the gasoline for Tesla Model 3 electric car, is causing a feeding frenzy that has only just begun. Unveiled on March 31st the car has already received 325,000 orders. Even the market know that this is more than just another electric vehicle, with its record breaking sales in its week one launch. Lithium will need significant advancements in order to keep up with the demand for these new vehicles.
China’s production and sale of electric cars are predicted to increase by more than double this year. More than 300,000 electric cars were sold in China last year, that number is expected to reach more than 600,000 by the end of 2016.
